細盲蛇
細盲蛇，屬爬行綱，有鱗目，細盲蛇科，英文名 Leptotyphlops nigricans(Black worm-snake) ，體長為20厘米，頭部較圓，身體纖細，尾部較短，身體背面主要為暗褐色至黑色。善於掘洞，並棲息於地下。平時它們大都生活於地洞之中，只有在雨天時才可能爬上地面。盲蛇的主要食物是 螞蟻和 白蟻，與及它們的蟲卵和幼蟲。廣泛分佈於 美洲、非洲及 西南亞，亞洲，歐洲。在美洲里，細盲蛇分佈於 美國西南部、大部分 中美洲及 南美洲（包括 烏拉圭及 阿根廷）一帶。
大部分細盲蛇外表都像有光澤的蚯蚓。它們多以棕色或粉紅色為主，體型幼小，身體上的鱗片有明顯的節狀紋理。其它種類的盲蛇大概也有類似的特徵，不過該類盲蛇多以黑色為主。細盲蛇的眼睛極小，僅成點狀，而且幾乎沒有視力。
細盲蛇（學名：Leptotyphlops）都善於掘洞，並棲息於地下。平時它們大都生活於地洞之中，只有在雨天時才可能爬上地面。盲蛇的主要食物是螞蟻和白蟻，與及它們的蟲卵和幼蟲。
細盲蛇廣泛分佈於美洲、非洲及西南亞，亞洲，歐洲。在美洲里，細盲蛇分佈於美國西南部、大部分中美洲及南美洲（包括烏拉圭及阿根廷）一帶。
