新街邊男孩
新街邊男孩（New Kids On The Block）於1985年在波士頓成立，最原始的Teen pop（青少年流行）就是來源於他們。簡寫為NKOTB。他們擁有3支冠軍單曲以及6支前十單曲，專輯銷量近8000萬，是除後街男孩之外的最暢銷的男孩樂隊。1994年宣布解散，2008年重新復出，回歸單曲“Summertime”亦取得TOP40的好成績。13年發行了新專輯“10”。
2020年8月，Billboard公布2019年歌手吸金榜，新街邊男孩以1800萬排名第27位。

當時組合中年紀最小的Joey McIntyre才14歲，而年紀最長的Jonathan Knight也才18歲。關於Joey McIntyre的加入，其中還頗有一段插曲。當時新街邊男孩連第一張唱片還沒出，就發生其中一個團員因為過量酗酒被開除的插曲。隨後才找來Joey Mcintyre替補，成為五人之中最年輕的一員。他們以乾淨、健康的形象出道，他們不像前輩那樣憤世嫉俗，也不追求另類嘻皮、朋克，不以新奇異怪的造型來吸引人的眼球。他們就憑著他們滿身的稚氣，稚氣的形象，稚氣的嗓音來打動人、感染人。他們健康純真的形象，甜美無邪的歌聲也走進了每一個10-20歲年輕人的心田。同時也向世界宣布，少男少女們有了只屬於自己的音樂，只屬於自己的流行團體。他們的出現和成功也定義了隨後10多年中歐美層出不窮的男孩組合的模式。5名成員，彼此年齡跨度在5年以內，中性的外形設計，只演唱他人創作的歌曲，擅長舞蹈。也許你沒想到，新街邊男孩就是當代TeenagePop Group的老祖宗。

說起來第一張專輯的封面還可見到Joey戴著牙齒矯正器。當時他尚未變聲，還保有男孩清澈甜嫩的嗓音。加上那對漂亮的藍眼珠，唱著這首"Please Don’t Go Girl"，當年真的迷倒不少人。雖然專輯裡頭有五位團員輪流主唱的歌曲，但是主唱機會最多的通常是Jordan Knight，再來是Joey，然後是Donnie Wahlberg。Jordan很會用假音唱歌，又會彈琴，那首"I'll Be Loving You (Forever)"也是專輯里非常受歡迎的歌，還曾經登上Billboard單曲排行榜的第一名。到1989年新街邊男孩已經成為美國炙手可熱的歌唱組合，其作品"You Got It (The Right Stuff)"、"I'll Be Loving You (Forever) "、"Cover Girl"、"Didn't I (Blow Your Mind)"深受樂迷喜愛。

2008年年初新街邊男孩宣布重組並在7月18日推出了新單曲《Summertime》，取得榜單36名的好成績。
2008年9月2日曾經紅極一時的新街邊男孩時隔14年推出了新專輯《The Block》，在該專輯中與Ne-Yo、The Pussycat Dolls、Akon等多名當紅歌手和組合進行了合作。

2013年1月底，新街邊男孩發行了新單曲《remix（i like the）》。於1月25日（美國時間早上10點）在“On Air with Ryan Seacrest”電台全球大首播(iTunes - 1/28 )！
2013年4月2日新街邊男孩發行了新專輯《10》，這張專輯首周就在Billboard專輯榜上登上了TOP10！第一周銷量為5，0000份。--《10》是續《New Kids On The Block》,《Hangin' Tough》, 《Merry, Merry Christmas》,《Step By Step》, 《No More Games/ The Remix Album》, 《Face The Music》,《Greatest Hits》, 《The Block》, 《NKOTBSB》之後的第10張專輯。
美國巡演5月31日開跑至7月14日，巡演特邀嘉賓有98 Degrees 和 Boyz II Men，兩個曾經紅極一時的男孩團體。
