《Outrageous》是嘻哈影響的R&B歌曲。“Stylus”雜誌的Gavin Mueller與R. Kelly 2003年的《Snake》單曲進行了比較。MTV的Jennifer Vineyard指出，“她用一種蛇風格的旋律來吟誦和呻吟聲，給歌曲帶來異國情調”。根據環球音樂出版集團發行的樂譜，本歌曲以D大調為基準調”，每分鐘節奏達105次。
