Delorean是2000年在西班牙巴斯克自治區的Zarautz組成的一支另類舞曲（Alternative Dance）樂隊，Ekhi Lopetegi為主唱兼貝斯手，Tomas Palomo為吉他手，Unai Lazcano為鍵盤手，Igor Escudeo為鼓手，四人為了探尋共同的興趣而組建了這支樂隊。Delorean在2004至2006年間發行了一張EP和兩張錄音室專輯，在小眾群體中取得了一定的成功。

伴隨著樂隊在07年在世界上規模最大的音樂盛典之一的SXSW音樂節上取得的成功，樂隊開始逐漸被世人所熟知，並在隨後放出了專輯《transatlantic KK》（這個或許可以看作是第二張專輯《Into the Platea》的BETA版）。
2009年，樂隊放出了第二張EP《Aryton Senna EP》，並獲得了相當的好評。隨後樂隊與JJ和Miike Snow兩支瑞典樂隊一起展開了巡迴演唱會，並與2010年3月發行了自己的第三張專輯《Subiza》。
