張知彬

1989年至2008年於中國科學院動物研究所，歷任助研、副研、正研、副所長、所長。期間曾先後到英國約克大學、美國農業部野生動物研究中心、澳大利亞CSIRO可持續生態所進行學術訪問。

2012年11月19日免去中國科學院生命科學與生物技術局局長職務（保留正局級待遇）。

研究方向

從行為生態學、分子生態學、生理生態學、種群生態學和全球生態學的角度，研究鼠類等有害生物種群暴發成災規律與調節機制、鼠類與植物及疾病的關係及無公害、可持續控制技術與策略，為生物災害預警和綜合治理以及退化生態系統恢復重建提供技術支撐和科學依據。

主要貢獻

發表學術論文200多篇，其中SCI論文70多篇。發現過去一千年間氣候變暖顯著降低了中國三大農業自然災害（旱災、澇災和蝗災），發現ENSO與我國、歐洲等國家鼠類種群動態密切關聯，發現密度依賴的互惠或合作有利競爭者共存，並提高競爭力等。
