男,荷蘭Delft技術大學化學工程工業催化專業碩士、博士。
在荷蘭期間主要從事工業催化、多孔材料的吸附和擴散等領域的研究,在Chem. Eng. Sci., Ind. Eng. Chem. Res., Langmuir, Chem. Commun., J. Am. Chem. Soc.等化工、化學重要學術期刊上發表研究論文40多篇,所發表論文SCI引用600多次,其中第一作者論文單篇被引用最高次數為100多次;編寫西方國家化工教材《結構催化劑和反應器》中的第20章“沸石分子篩膜:模擬和應用”;在國際大型學術會議上作口頭報告十多次,包括邀請報告和大會報告;作為項目主持人和主要參與者,和多個世界著名化工企業合作開展應用開發研究,革新工藝技術。現主要從事工業催化領域的研究和教學工作。

一直從事工業催化領域的研究,已在Chem. Eng. Sci., Ind. Eng. Chem. Res., J. Membrane Sci., J. Phys. Chem. C, Langmuir, J. Am. Chem. Soc.等國際主流化工、化學英文期刊上發表研究論文80多篇,所發表的論文已獲得1400多次SCI引用,其中單篇SCI引用最高為160多次;在國際學術會議上作報告20多次,包括邀請報告和大會報告。
