1983-1997年，華北石油管理局勘探開發研究院，1995年晉陞為高級工程師；

1997-2000年，中國地質大學（武漢）地球化學專業，理學博士學位；

2000-2002年，中國石油大學（北京），博士后，任該校博士后負責人和北京市博士后聯誼會常務理事；

2002年至今，中國科學院地質與地球物理研究所。

主要研究油氣的生成、運移、聚集和成藏后的次生變化。已開展的研究工作包括：

（1）裂谷盆地中的油氣成因分析；

（2）油氣二次運移指標與油氣分佈預測；

（3）非常規油氣藏的成藏機理與分佈預測；

（4）盆地中油氣的散失機理與地球化學勘探方法。

石油天然氣地質與地球化學

（1）國家科技重大專項項目十二五期間一級專題《斷陷盆地陡坡帶砂礫岩扇體的成岩-成藏過程》（2011ZX05008-004-20），負責人；

（2）國家科技重大專項項目十一五期間一級專題《東營凹陷東部深層砂礫岩體成岩過程、空間特徵及油氣充注》（2008ZX05008-004-20），負責人；

（3）國家重點基礎研究發展規劃（973）項目《中國典型疊合盆地油氣形成富集與分佈預測》09課題《中國典型疊合盆地深部流體與盆地流體相互作用及油氣成藏效應》（G19990433309），為該課題《東營凹陷幔源流體地地球化學特徵及其成藏效應》專題的負責人；

（4）國家重點基礎研究發展規劃（973）項目《多種能源礦產共存成藏(礦)機理與富集分佈規律》08課題《盆地多種能源礦產共存富集的判識體系、預測理論和協同勘探模式》（2003CB214608），為下題《沉積盆地多種能源礦產共存富集的流體特徵與綜合勘探方法》的負責人；

（5）自然科學基金項目《東營凹陷幔源富氫流體的地球化學特徵及其油氣成藏效應研究》（批准號：40373029），項目負責人；

（6）國際科技合作重點項目《濟陽坳陷幔源物質和能量傳輸對油氣成藏影響效應研究》（批准號：2004CB720503），項目負責人；

（7）中石油勘探開發科學研究院鄂爾多斯分院橫向課題《鄂爾多斯盆地蘇里格廟氣田與榆林氣田主力儲層成岩作用及其影響因素分析》，課題負責人。
