MiMi和 Clivilles 對於 "Emotions" 最初的想法是不同的，這首歌的名字來自於一個叫 Emotions 的女子團體，她們在70年代以 Best of My Love 和 Boogie Wonderland 兩首冠軍曲而著稱，這兩首作品由 Earth Wind and Fire為她們製作。
