130多年來，《科技新時代》在提升人們的生活品質和科技素養方面起著舉足輕重的作用。《科技新時代·Popular Science》雜誌中文版創刊於1996年1月。由Bonnier集團授予萬華媒體（OMG）獨家版權。《科技新時代·Popular Science》跟蹤正在或將要影響我們生活的世界科技創新和突破，致力於圖文並茂、通俗易懂地報道生活科技前沿信息，成為讀者走近最新生活科技的橋樑，享受現代科技成果的指南，了解未來科技發展趨勢的窗口。該書80%以上的圖文來自英文版，並根據中國讀者關注的熱點適當增加中國有關內容。目前每月1日出版，採用大16開，全彩印。

2014年10月8日，萬華媒體宣布停止《科技新時代》中文版的發行。最後一期截止到2014十月刊。
