這次Coldplay的新專輯中除了自己獨特地風格外還會融入其他電子音樂等音樂元素。Coldplay為製作這張新專輯可謂煞費苦心，不但選擇在倫敦錄音，而且邀請Danton Supple和KenNelson等著名製作人來製作，相信這次Coldplay一定會給歌迷們一個驚喜。

專輯的封套的設計與1990年的一款電腦遊戲Teris很相像，這背後究竟蘊藏了什麼特殊含義不得而知。不過最重要的是音樂本身，主唱Chris注入了無限傷感情緒，動人的嗓音唱著溫柔的旋律，從而在Coldplay的歌曲中經常能體會出一種憂鬱的感覺。
