埃維語

埃維語屬印歐語系、印度-伊朗語族。

由來


屬印歐語系、印度-伊朗語族。分佈於阿富汗和巴基斯坦西北地區。使用人口在阿富汗境內有1000多萬,在巴基斯坦的西北地區也有近1000萬。主要方言分為兩支:南部方言,保留了古音sh和zh;北部方言(主要通行於巴基斯坦)採用了kh音和gh音。經語言學家考證,埃維語和梵語的語法十分近似,除具有較多的共同詞語外,還有許多共同的詞根。埃維語受印地語的影響很大,也吸收了許多波斯語和阿拉伯語詞,但仍保留了古伊朗語的許多特徵。埃維語有長母音和短母音各3個。名詞與形容詞都有性、數、格的變化,動詞有人稱和時、態等變化。埃維語採用經過修改的阿拉伯文字,有40個字母,8個純系埃維語字母,其餘是阿拉伯語和波斯語字母。
