Sloan的強項有：financial engineeringandmanagement，strategic/internationalmanagement and consulting，newproduct and venture development，operations management，informationtechnology，business transformation等。

教學方式：課堂講授、案例教學各佔一半。全年開設選修課110門。 Sloan"專而精"的特點，使得畢業生善於解決難題，在單位里是骨幹力量，但成為CEO的卻為數不多。畢業生主要從事管理諮詢和投資銀行而很少進入其他行業，如：營銷等。

Sloan的外國學生比例相當高，達37-38%。
