周杰

1968年生；1990年畢業於南開大學首屆數學試點班，獲理學學士學位；1992年提前畢業於南開大學數學系概率論與數理統計專業，獲理學碩士學位；1995年畢業於華中理工大學圖像識別研究所模式識別與智能控制專業，獲工學博士學位，論文被評為華中理工大學優秀博士論文；1995年至1997年在清華大學自動化系從事博士后研究；

1995年至1997年在清華大學自動化系從事博士后研究。

1997年後至今一直在清華大學自動化系工作。

2003年提升為教授。

2004年提升為博士生導師。

歷任清華大學自動化系教授，擔任清華大學自動化系主任助理。並作為清華大學與IBM中國研究院聯合成立的現代服務科學與技術研究中心的主任。

現為清華大學自動化系黨委副書記，現代服務科學與技術研究中心主任。
