2006年以一曲《Aesthetic》（日劇《醫龍》插曲）出道！該歌曲在日本公信榜原聲鈴聲的下載排行中，2006年6月首周便進入50強，之後更是上升至第二位！

之後，關山與作曲家澤野弘之（《Aesthetic》作曲者）合作了多首曲目（均為影視插曲＆主題曲），首首好評如潮，人氣不斷上升。直至關山到英國留學后，此段時間內才沒有新作問世。

2009年8月31日，關山藍果留學歸來！這便是關山真正意義上的出道——不但加入了澤野弘之所在的唱片代理事務所Legendoor，還將其藝名更改為“藍果”，開始全身心投入到音樂事業中！
