郭建東

2005年入選中國科學院“百人計劃”回國。現任物理所研究員、博士生導師、課題組長、表面物理國家重點實驗室主任；中國科學院大學物理系主任；中國物理學會表面界面專業委員會主任；中國真空學會常務理事。

研究方向

主要利用分子束外延和掃描隧道顯微鏡等手段研究1）金屬/半導體界面低維體系的生長機理及其不穩定 性；2）複雜過渡金屬氧化物薄膜的生長及其在原子尺度上的強關聯性質。

獲得成果

1. 系統研究了In/Si（111）界面在低溫下的4x1—8x2相變，尤其是在相變點附近的動力學行為，發現了微觀尺度上結構相變和電子學相變的分離以及新納米相的存在。

2. 發現了Pb/Ge（111）界面在低溫下的無序相變，指出了金屬/半導體界面性質與強關聯電子體系理論的聯繫。

3. 在Cu（111）鄰近表面上生長出單原子的Fe量子線，指出了利用台階陣列作為模版獲得均勻全同量子線的可行性。已發表論文十餘篇（包括4篇PRL，4篇APL等）。

研究課題及展望

利用分子束外延方法生長複雜過渡金屬氧化物薄膜，並通過低溫STM進行原位觀測，研究原子尺度上的強關聯現象。
