聞：聽見；睹：看見。親耳聽到，親眼看見。

《資治通鑒•唐紀睿宗景雲二年》：“口說不如身逢，耳聞不如目睹。”

親自聽到和看到的。魯迅《吶喊．一件小事》：“我從鄉下跑到京城裡，一轉眼已經六年了。其間耳聞目睹的所謂國家大事，算起來也很不少。”亦作“耳聞目見”。北齊．顏之推《顏氏家訓．歸心》：“夫信謗之徵，有如影響；耳聞目見，其事已多，或乃精誠不深，業緣未感，時儻差闌，終當或報耳。”宋．歐陽修《本論》：“耳聞目見，無非仁義禮樂，而趣之不知其倦，終身不見異物，又奚暇夫外慕哉！”《野叟曝言》一○一回：“這些事情，俱是小的耳聞目見，確實不過。”亦作“目見耳聞”。宋．蘇軾《石鐘山記》：“事不目見耳聞而臆斷其有無，可乎？”亦作“耳聞目擊”。《楊家將》一三回：“若汝等耳聞目擊，有好名士，吾不惜千金聘來同鎮此地。”亦作“目擊耳聞”。明．無名氏《漁樵閑話》三折：“又聽的妻將刀殺死了親夫，子持棍打殺了親父……似此這般，怎生目擊耳聞。”亦作“目睹耳聞”。《四庫全書總目提要．武林舊事》：“蓋密（周密）雖居弁山，實流寓杭州之癸辛街，故目睹耳聞，最為真確。”

目擊耳聞、所見所聞、耳濡目染、親眼所見

閉目塞聽、捕風捉影

耳濡目染是指耳朵經常聽到，眼睛經常看到，不知不覺地受到影響。（濡：沾濕；染：沾染。）

形容見得多了聽得多了之後，無形之中受到影響，指受好的影響。強調受到了影響；

而耳聞目睹是指親耳聽到，親眼看見。形容親身見證，千真萬確。強調了事情是真實的，而並無指明一定受到了影響。

綜上所述，這兩個詞語不能替換使用。
