起初，惠特尼並不想錄製這首歌，感覺這首歌沒什麼特別的信息來表達。然而，Arista唱片CEO Clive Davis堅信如果交由惠特尼錄製，這首歌會成為一首冠單，於是惠特尼同意了，這也成就了她美國連續七首冠軍單曲的 紀錄。
