秋劫

加州的秋季某日，一陣不明風暴帶來恐怖病毒，24小時以後所有城市瞬間成為死城，倖存者不到百分之一。麥可成 為鎮上倖存者集團的帶領者，面對即將來臨的寒冬，他必須找到安全的庇護所以及更多食物。麥可提議大家衝出去，但是很少人贊成這樣。最後只有卡爾、麥克和艾瑪等少數人選擇了離開庇護所。他們很快就發現那些死去的人的軀體仍然會動，而且隨著時間的流逝，那些死人似乎重生了一般，他們的行動變得更加的敏捷。而且他們主要是通過聲音來攻擊他人的。

麥可他們在一處偏僻的農場暫住了下來，但是農場的發電機的聲音給他們帶來了不小的麻煩。那些死屍成群結隊地前來攻擊麥可他們。麥可在危急關頭衝出了房子，並且關掉了發電機，最後麥可和艾瑪一起乘車逃離了這個人間地獄。
