葉茂

電子科技大學教授

葉茂，男，博士，1973年9月出生，畢業於四川師範大學，現為電子科技大學教授。

2008年破格提升為博士生指導教師。2009年破格晉陞為正教授。中國工程物理研究院客座教授，電子科技大學機器人中心副主任。計算機學會計算機視覺專委會，多媒體計算專委會委員。2002年從香港中文大學獲得計算數學哲學博士學位並加入電子科技大學至今。

工作經歷

1998年4月-1999年7月信息產業部電子第二十九研究所軟體組，高級程序員，從事信息與數據融合方面的研究和軟體編製工作。7月-1999年7月在中電第29研究所任助理工程師。

2002年7月-2005年7月在電子科技大學任講師。

2005年7月-2009年7月在電子科技大學任副教授。11月-2006年8月任澳大利亞昆士蘭大學信息科學與技術工程學院訪問學者，從事高維數據流挖掘方面的理論研究。

2009年7月-至今在電子科技大學任教授。

目前主要的科學研究興趣為：視聽覺信息特徵提取，視頻檢索，模式識別與計算機視覺，非剛體匹配。
