2008年獲重慶大學工學博士學位，美國威斯康星大學麥迪遜分校工業與系統工程系訪問學者。主持或主研國家863項目、高檔數控機床與基礎製造裝備國家科技重大專項、國家科技支撐計劃、中央高校基本科研業務費及橫向課題10餘項，在《International Journal of Production Research》、《機械工程學報》等國內外學術期刊及國際會議發表論文20餘篇，參編高等院校工業工程系列教材1部，獲國家發明專利授權1 項。
