1978年9月—1983年7月 重慶醫科大學醫療一系本科生。

1993年8月—1988年9月 四川省樂山市青神縣醫院，住院醫師。

1983年9月—1988年7月 重慶醫科大學附屬第一醫院，碩士研究生。

1988年8月—1995年8月 重慶醫科大學附屬第一醫院，主治醫師。

1995年9月—1998年7月 重慶醫科大學博士研究生（在職），副主任醫師。

1998年7月—2000年7月 中山大學附屬腫瘤醫院博士后。

2000年7月至今：中山大學附屬腫瘤醫院生物治療研究中心，主任醫師，教授副主任、病區區長。

2001年4月開設生物治療專科門診。

2002年6月開設生物治療病區。

2005年8月—10月為瑞典Karolinska大學訪問學者。

擅長黑色素瘤的內科治療、實體腫瘤的生物治療和基因治療。主要從事腫瘤生物治療的應用基礎研究，如腫瘤微環境在實體瘤發展過程中的作用及其干預。

主編專著1部，發表研究論文40餘篇。
