威廉·彼得森，1953年2月21日出生於伊利諾伊州埃文斯頓，美國演員、製片人。

因在《犯罪現場調查》拉斯維加斯篇中扮演的夜班主管Gilbert Grissom而被觀眾所熟識。現階段主要活躍於舞台劇。

儘管威廉是一個丹麥移民家庭的第四代成員，他的教育是在一所位於愛達荷州博伊西的天主教高中——Bishop Kelly 高中完成的。

他隨後考入了愛達荷州立大學，並且獲得了足球專業的獎學金。

之後他搬到了芝加哥，成為了西伯利亞狼劇場公司的一員。

演藝經歷

他的電影生涯開始於1981年的《神偷》，1986年，他在《獵人者》一片中出演了威爾·格拉漢姆，這也預示著他的演藝事業的成功。

彼德森曾經出演過奧利弗·斯通的《排》一劇，這也讓他和他的家人疏遠。

2000年發行的《鬥爭者》一片中，彼得森出演了地方長官傑克·哈斯韋。

由於這部電影的巨大成功，皮特森在哥倫比亞廣播公司的新劇《csi 犯罪現場調查》中獲得了扮演主角吉爾伯特·格里森的機會。

2021年10月6日，出演的《犯罪現場調查：維加斯》CBS開播。
