簡歷 & 研究組工作摘要: 1993 博士,華東師範大學1993-1997 講師,副教授,華東師範大學生物系腦功能研究室1997-1999 獲馬普獎學金,德國馬普醫學所博士后1999-2002 美國華盛頓大學麻醉系研究助理2002-2008 美國德州大學西南醫學中心神經科學系研究助理教授2008- 入選中科院“百人計劃”,生物物理研究所研究員 本課題組主要研究興趣是突觸囊泡釋放的分子生物學和細胞生物學原理。我們結合分子生物學和生物物理學方法,探索控制神經遞質精確釋放的突觸機制。尤其關注的課題是:1)怎樣的分子生物學機制決定了神經突觸鈣通道與突觸囊泡的耦合,這一耦合是如何調控突觸囊泡釋放率、釋放動力學以及突觸可塑性的;2)神經遞質釋放參與神經編碼的信號機制。Biography & IntroductionDr. Sun completed his Ph.D and became a faculty member in the Department of Biology at East China Normal University in 1993. In 1997, He did his postdoctoral fellowship with Dr. Wolf Almers at the Max Planck Institute for Medicine Research in Heidelberg, Germany. During 1999-2002, he worked as a research associate in Dr.Ling-Gang Wu's lab at Washington University in St. Louis. In 2002, he was appointed as an assistant professor(research track) in the Department of Neuroscience, UT Southwestern Medical Center, Dallas. He joined the Institute of biophysics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, as a principal investigator in 2008.Dr. Sun’s research interests are focused on the molecular and cellular mechanism of Synaptic vesicle release. His laboratory uses an interdisciplinary approach with combination of biophysics and molecular biology to explore the mechanism that the presynaptic secretory machinery achieves the precise neurotransmitter release. He is particularly interested in 1). The molecular mechanism that determines the coupling between calcium channels and synaptic vesicles and how this spatial organization governs vesicle release probability, vesicle release kinetics and synaptic plasticity. 2).
