莫妮卡·波特

生於俄亥俄州的一個天主教家庭，在家中四姐妹中排行老二。她結婚 較早，19歲時已做了母親。早期在芝加哥、邁阿密等地從事模特兒工作。1996年踏足影壇，與亞當．桑德勒合作她的銀幕處女作《重案行動組》。接著與尼古拉斯．凱奇合作了《空中囚犯》，與羅賓．威廉姆斯合作了《妙手情真》，均有上佳表現，其未來發展值得期待。
