Shadows fall（暗降），成立於1995年，是一支美國新浪潮金屬樂隊，雖然他們的音樂有時候和以哥德堡和瑞典居多的死亡金屬非常相象，比如被大家認為In Flames的影子，他們還是在Massachusetts得到了認可。

Shadows Fall

1996年兩位吉他手onathan Donais和Matthew Bachand 創建了樂隊，次年夏天，隊伍有擴大了，增加了歌手Phil Lebonte，貝斯手Paul Romanko以及鼓手David Germain。1997年年底，Somber Eyes to the Sky作為他們的自己經營自己發行的第一張唱片面試了，在排行榜上獲得了良好的成績，並且被全世界的音樂愛好者接受並認可。在1998年，他們換了另一個位多才多藝的歌手Brian Fair，成為了他們的招牌。
