牛仔和法國人，又名Français vus par, Les，是一部由大衛·林奇導演，哈利·戴恩·斯坦通、Frederic Golchan等主演的在1988年上映的劇情片。
三個牛仔在農場消磨著下午時光。一個戴著貝雷帽穿得很歐洲化的迷路人出現在山坡上。他們搜查了他的手提箱后，他們發現他是法國人，而且帶了一箱子寶貝。雖然語言上有很大障礙，但友善使他們走到一起。這時候一群姑娘帶來了啤酒----他們通宵狂歡。他們一起唱《牧區的家》，用法語歡呼＂法蘭西萬歲！＂
大衛·林奇( David Lynch )的一部鮮為人知的短片以20世紀之交美國西部荒野的一個牧場為背景，講述了一位頭髮花白、聽覺障礙的牛仔西爾姆( Silm )和他的兩個朋友達斯丁( Dusty )和皮特( Pete )捕捉到一個神秘、衣著光鮮的法國人的故事。由於無法理解對方的意思，說俚語的牛仔和不講英語的法國人使他們無法理解對方的意思...
