1998－2001：美國阿貢國家實驗室化學技術部，博士后。

2001－2002：美國阿貢國家實驗室化學技術部，正式僱員（Staff Scientist)。

2002至今：中國科學技術大學材料科學與工程系，教授，博導。

2006年，任榮事達新能源公司首席科學家。

2010年，第七屆“挑戰杯”中國大學生創業計劃競賽金獎得主“LiFe創業團隊”指導老師。
