阿蘭·本奈特

阿蘭·本奈特（Alan Bennett）是一名英國劇作家，出生於英國利茲。在服兵役期間他在英國軍方設立的聯合服務語言學校學習俄語，隨後得到了劍橋大學的錄取，但他因希望跟暗戀對象同校而轉而申請牛津大學。從牛津大學歷史系取得一等榮譽畢業后，他留校教授了幾年中世紀史，隨後離校開始職業編劇生涯。他曾憑《瘋狂的喬治王》獲奧斯卡最佳改編劇本提名，其他著名的作品包括《歷史系男生》、《貨車裡的女人》等。他於1988年拒絕了不列顛帝國勳章，於1996年拒絕了封爵。

2020年6月23日，擔任編劇電影《新喋喋人生》上映。
