廖曉昕

廖曉昕,中國著名控制與系統理論專家、動力系統穩定性理論領域最傑出的學者之一。

人物介紹


廖曉昕教授1938年12月生於湖南新化。1963年畢業於武漢大學數學系,1993年-1994年在美國南加州大學從事高訪研究。現為華中科技大學控制科學與工程系教授、博士生導師。他1988年獲國家級有突出貢獻專家稱號,1989年獲全國優秀教師獎,1998 年獲寶鋼優秀教師獎和華中理工大學優秀研究生指導教師獎,1993年起享受國務院政府特殊津貼。六次主持國家自然科學基金項目(其中一項為國際合作),兩次獲得國家教委博士點基金,兩次獲香港王寬成教育基金資助出國參加非線性分析世界大會,獲湖北省自然科學基金和英國皇家學會資助各一次。先後赴美、英、法、日、瑞、意等國參加國際會議8次(多次作60分鐘、45分鐘、30分鐘報告);在美、英、法、德、日、加、荷、俄及國內權威刊物IEEE Trans. on Automatic Control、IEEE Trans. on Circuit and System、Physical Review E.、Journal of Physics A.、International Journal of Control、International Journal of Bifurcation and Chaos、《中國科學》、《自動化學報》、《電子學報》、《數學學報》等上發表論文160多篇,僅在《中國科學》上發表的論文就達19篇,其中SCI原文收錄60餘篇,引文索引收錄100多篇,EI收錄18篇,ISTP收錄2篇(不完全統計)。獲2002年湖北省自然科學一等獎一次(第一排序)並兩次獨得國家教委科技進步二等獎,一次與他人合獲湖北省優秀教學成果二等獎,其主持的國家自然科學基金項目2003年被評為“特優”。他應荷蘭Kluwer國際出版社和中國科學出版社的聯合約稿,於1993年出版了英文專著《Absolute Stability of Nonlinear Control Systems》,該書系統地總結了作者對著名Lurie問題的研究,受到美、俄學者的好評。還出版了《穩定性的數學理論和應用》(獲全國優秀圖書獎)等中文專著。參與了《現代數學手冊》巨型工具書的編寫,任第一卷《經典數學》主編。該書五卷集體獲全國優秀科技圖書二等獎。指導了4名博士后,指導博士生17名,其中一名獲湖北省優秀博士論文獎。目前主要研究方向為:動力系統穩定性理論,非線性與複雜系統的控制理論與應用,神經網路智能控制。由於廖曉昕教授的傑出貢獻,他作為正式候選人,參加了2003年中科院院士的增選。
