徐永勝(Yongsheng Xu),美國喬治亞州立大學經濟系終身教授,中央財經大學中國公共財政與政策研究院教授,西南財經大學海外客座教授
徐永勝教授本科畢業於蘭州大學獲應用數學系,獲學士學位(1985),於上世紀80年代入選“鄒至庄經濟學留學項目”赴美國土倫大學(Tulane University)深造,並於1992年獲得經濟學博士學位。他先後在美國,英國和日本多所大學(華盛頓大學(Washington University), 土倫大學(Tulane University),杜倫大學(University of Durham),一橋大學(Hitotsubashi University),諾丁漢大學University of Nottingham)和喬治亞州立大學(Georgia State University))從事教學和研究工作,於2004年在喬治亞州立大學安德魯楊政策研究院(Andrew Young School of Policy Studies)晉陞為終身教授,成為該系由副教授晉陞為正教授最快的教授。
徐永勝教授主要從事經濟理論研究,其研究領域為微觀經濟理論,福利經濟學,社會選擇,應用博弈論,公共經濟,信息與組織理論,貧窮與不公平理論等。其論文見諸於經濟學國際一流學術期刊如:Economica, Journal of Economic Theory, Economic Theory 和 Social Choice and Welfare等,學術成果豐碩,是在經濟學界尤其是社會選擇領域有重要影響及學術貢獻的華人經濟學家之一。
