研究範疇

現從事新型功能配合物的研究，並探討它們在光電磁材料、催化和藥物等方面的應用，近幾年來發表的主要學術論文有100餘篇，其中SCI 論文76篇，這些論文發表在“Angew. Chem. Int. Ed.”, “ Chem. Eur. J.”, “Chem. Commun.”, “Marcomolecules”, “Inorg. Chem.”, “Dalton Trans.”, “J. Mater. Chem.”, “Coord. Chem. Rev.”等上面。論文被美國、英國、德國、日本及國內的許多教授多次引用，共被SCI引用的論文次數超過了500次，其中單篇被SCI引用次數超過50次的論文有8篇。

學術成就

從99年開始，主持科研課題12項，其中主持國家自然科學基金資助課題四項，主持教育部優秀青年教師資助計劃、教育部高等學校骨幹教師基金、留學歸國基金資助課題各一項，以及河南省高等學校創新人才培養工程、河南省傑出青年基金等。

1995年研究課題《固相配位化學反應及原子簇合成》獲得了國家教委科技進步一等獎(證書號: 95-028)；另外，申報國家發明專利三項。2006年應邀在Nova Science Publishers, Inc.出版社的系列叢書“Leading Edge Organometallic Chemistry Research”中撰寫“Progress in Ferrocene Carboxylate Metal Complexes”一章。
