橘子的話

出版詩集有“橘子的話”、“你是否撫觸到衣襟上被親吻的痕迹”、“落日藥丸”，詩評集“論析現代詩”（三人合著）。兩度獲得菲律賓王國棟文藝基金會新詩獎。

咱們恆是一粒粒　Each of us is

酸酸的桔仔　A calamansi

分不清　Wondering if

生長的土地　The soil that nurtures us

是故鄉　Is native or alien.

還是異鄉

想到祖先　Our fathers

移植海外以前　Back in the old century

原是甜蜜的　Were sweet

而今已然一代酸過一代　Yet sour each passing generation.

只不知　Shall we know

子孫們　How much more sour

將更酸澀　In taste

成啥味道　The Children after us will be.

* Clalmansi is a small citrous fruit，the Philippines version of the

lemon.
