武漢理工大學交通學院教授
羅蓉,女,博士,科技部創新人才推進計劃“中青年科技創新領軍人才”。現任武漢理工大學交通學院教授、博士生導師,並擔任美國土木工程師協會學術期刊《土木工程材料》副主編、美國交通運輸研究委員會技術委員會委員等學術職務。
路基路面工程、瀝青與瀝青混合料試驗、交通運輸工程專業導論等。
長期從事道路瀝青路面結構與材料研究。主持了國家“973計劃”青年科學家項目、國家自然科學基金、交通運輸部建設科技項目、湖北省科技支撐計劃項目等多項科研項目。提出了瀝青混合料中水氣擴散的理論模型;發展了瀝青混合料無損黏彈性質及損傷性質的試驗方法;建立了道路瀝青與集料表面能資料庫,已直接應用於湖北省多條高速公路,創造了顯著的社會經濟效益。在美國學習和工作期間,主持及參與了由美國聯邦公路局、美國公路合作研究計劃、美國德克薩斯州交通廳、美國西南地區大學交通中心資助的10多項科研項目。在道路工程領域的國際一流期刊上發表SCI論文50多篇,參加國際學術大會並做學術報告70多次。
