潘忠孝

1945年8月生於海南樂東。1968年畢業於中山大學化學系，后在四川江油3022信箱(隸屬原冶金工業部)從事冶金分析工作近十年。1981年在中國科技大學近代化學系分析化學專業研究生畢業並獲理學碩士學位，后留校在分析化學專業任教。曾以訪問學者身份在美國(Ames國家實驗室和IOWA州立大學)和瑞士（BASEL大學）分別工作過約三年和一年。1990年起，歷任中國科技大學近代化學系、化學物理系副主任，應用化學系主任，中國科技大學副秘書長、秘書長等職。曾任中國科學院計算機化學開放實驗室學術委員會委員，現任《計算機與應用化學》雜誌編委。出版有《化學因子分析》、《神經網路及其在化學中的應用》等編譯著。

一九九八年被評為中國科學院優秀研究生導師、教師。
