朱平[中國科學技術大學教授]
1996年中國科學院物理研究所等離子體物理專業理學碩士,
2001年獲美國University of Texas at Austin物理學Ph.D學位。
先後在美國University of Iowa, University of New Hampshire, University of Wisconsin-Madison 等高教科研機構從事磁約束聚變和空間磁層等離子體物理的理論計算工作,
2013年受聘中國科學技術大學物理學院近代物理系教授。
朱平[中國科學技術大學教授]
主要研究方向為理論與計算等離子體物理,及其在聚變和空間等離子體物理中的應用。通過解析理論和大規模數值模擬計算,系統考察磁約束聚變裝置和地球磁層等離子體中的宏觀及介觀不穩定性,探索聚變和空間等離子體物理中非線性和複雜性等諸多近代物理的基本普適問題,為建立磁約束聚變運行控制模型和空間天氣預測模型提供理論基礎,積極為國家的聚變能發展和空間開發計劃提供基礎科學服務。2002年起開始擔《Physics of Plasmas》和《Journal of Geophysical Research》特邀審稿人,以及美國國家科學基金和美國能源部特邀項目評審人。
