研究以果蠅為模型研究社會行為的神經機制，主要集中在果蠅爭鬥和失戀行為的分子和神經機制，果蠅求偶行為中信息素和求偶歌感受的神經環路機制等。

申請人以第一作者身份在Neuron、Nature Neuroscience、Journal of Neuroscience等著名期刊發表研究論文。

受到眾多科學期刊如Nature、Nature Neuroscience、Neuron、Nature Reviews Neuroscience等的專題評論和眾多媒體如Science News、The Scientist、The Verge、redOrbit等廣泛報道。

曾獲得首屆吳瑞獎和NIBS優秀研究生獎。
