美國威斯康星大學醫學與公共衛生學院副研究員、訪問學者，美國阿拉巴馬大學公共衛生學院博士后，華中科技大學同濟醫學院衛生毒理學博士，環境醫學碩士，河南醫科大學預防醫學學士。湖北省營養學會理事；湖北省食品安全企業標準備案審查專家組專家。

科研：主持國家自然科學基金2項，發表SCI文章數十篇。主要研究膳食營養、食品安全與健康，婦幼及老年營養。

教學：湖北省教育廳、武漢大學、醫學部教學研究項目各1項。主要講授本科生課程：《營養與食品衛生學》、《營養學》、《專業英語》、《衛生學》、《預防醫學》、《社區醫學》（留學生），研究生課程《食品營養與食品安全》、《實驗室安全與儀器操作規範》等。
