張濤

1982和88年獲浙江大學學士（固體力學）、碩士（計算力學），1997年獲英國伯明翰大學博士（生理學）。現為南開大學特聘教授，博士生導師，生物信息學學科負責人。曾在英國曼徹斯特大學、日本理化學研究院和英國倫敦SBU大學從事博士后、研究員和高級研究員工作。

神經生理與計算。生物信息學目前的主要研究方向：與神經系統重大疾病（癲癇和腦缺血等）相關的神經生理機制和預防，如癲癇的早期預報；非線性理論和方法以其在生理學研究中的應用；蛋白質結構、功能的生物信息學分析，如蛋白質二級結構分析、蛋白質功能點突變預測演演算法等，以及生物信息資料庫的建設。

回國以來已經完成七項國家級基金（5項自然科學基金，兩項973子課題）和三項省部級科學基金，目前承擔兩項國家級基金（自然科學基金和973子課題）和一項天津市基礎研究項目（重點）。在國內外學術刊物上發表論文近百篇，會議論文或摘要70餘篇。組建了以碩士和博士生為主體的研究隊伍。

在高維非線性神經動力學系統的計算和分析方面取得過創新性成果。如針對RSNA的非線性分析，在國際上首次提出了利用系統的生物學特徵而不是通常的

數學或物理的方法進行降維的思路，成功的分析了正常Wistar和SHRSP大鼠上肢神經在不同強度和頻率的電刺激時RSNA的混沌特徵。回國數年來已經完成四項國家級基金（三項自然科學基金，一項973子課題）和三項省部級科學基金，目前承擔兩項國家自然科學基金。在國內外學術刊物上發表論文80餘篇，會議論文或摘要70餘篇。組建了以碩士和博士生為主體的研究隊伍。

2021年8月，南開大學生命科學學院張濤教授團隊和化學學院郭東升教授團隊在治療阿爾茨海默病藥物研究方面取得新的進展。該成果已發表於國際權威期刊《先進材料》。
