研究領域為Ikaros基因在T淋巴細胞發育和急性淋巴細胞白血病的控制機制。 Ikaros基因編碼調控早期造血系和淋巴系的轉錄因子。 DNA結合區域缺陷的Ikaros小鼠缺乏T,B和自然殺傷細胞,並且缺乏早期淋巴系前體幹細胞。因此Ikaros調控全能造血幹細胞向淋巴系分化。研究在基因敲除小鼠中, 確定Ikaros基因敲除導致transitional 過渡T細胞的分化和增殖,在第三期中產生急性T淋巴細胞白血病並有Notch1高表達,並運用Chip-seq和基因晶元進行三期T淋巴細胞的表觀遺傳信息和基因轉錄表達。
