北京大學研究員

陸揚,1965年12月生。北京大學中國古代史研究中心研究員。北京大學梵巴利文1984級本科學生,師從季羨林先生。后負笈奧地利維也納大學,師從Ernst Steinkellner。最後在普林斯頓大學取得歷史學博士學位,師從杜希德(Denis C. Twitchett)、余英時。畢業后先後執教於普林斯頓大學、哈佛大學和堪薩斯大學徠。2011年獲聘北京大學中古史研究中心研究員。

1984年9月至1987年10月,就讀於北京大學東方語言學系本科,專業梵文巴厘文。
1987年10月至1990年4月,就讀於維也納大學(Universitat Wien)藏學與佛教學研究系。
1991年9月至1996年8月,就讀於普林斯頓大學(Princeton University)東亞研究系。
1999年1月獲博士學位。
1996年9月至1999年7月,普林斯頓大學東亞研究系講師。
1999年8月-2006年7月,普林斯頓大學東亞研究系助教授。

2007年8月至2011年6月,堪薩斯大學(University of Kansas)歷史系助教授。
2011年6月起,北京大學歷史系暨中國古代史研究中心研究員。

唐五代政治與文化史、中國中古佛教文化史、比較史學史。
