姚曉天,教授,博導。工學博士(1992年在美國南加州大學獲光電子學博士學位)。

人物經歷


1992年在美國南加州大學獲光電子學博士學位;
1990~2000年任美國加州理工學院NASA噴氣動力實驗室(JPL)資深研究員;
先後三年(1998、2000、2001)就任美國OFC(光纖技術)技術委員會成員。
國家獲得者,天津大學長江學者、特聘教授,天津大學光偏振研究中心主任。
現任河北大學“長江學者”特聘教授,國家“973”計劃分課題負責人,河北大學光信息技術創新中心主任

主要貢獻


科研項目、成果和專利

國家“973”計劃分課題負責人,主持國家自然基金、天津市重點基金等多個研究項目。在國際光學雜誌上發表學術論文近百篇,近年來被SCI收錄學術論文33篇, 被EI收錄學術論文38篇。國際會議(北美歐洲、日本等國)特邀報告8篇,OFC 會議Postdeadline(即大會重要發言)報告2篇。曾獲得美國航天總署(NASA技術發明獎39項,擁有美國專利50餘項。
近年來主要從事光學偏振控制和時間控制技術、布里淵選擇性邊頻放大的理論基礎及實驗驗證、高速短脈衝與光折變材料相互作用的理論研究和實驗論證,發明了光電微波振蕩器,研製出光纖偏振和時間控制技術系列成果,具有世界領先水平,並成功地實現了產業化。其中兩台儀器分別獲得美國光電子領域2000年和2001年優秀產品大獎(Photonics Circle of Excellence Award)。
2006年9月9日,9月10日CCTV-1套的《見證。發現之旅》節目系列中的《終極振蕩器》對姚曉天教授在光電微波振蕩器的研究工作進行了詳細報道。
