1994年回國至今在中國科學院上海有機化學研究所工作。現為研究員/博士生導師,兼任中國化學會 <<有機化學>>雜誌的副主編及<<中國化學>>和<<化學學報>>編委。2000年獲國家傑出青年基金。
研究方向
具顯著生物活性的天然及非天然複雜分子的不對稱合成及作用機制研究,不對稱合成方法學研究。
先後從事的研究領域包括人工模擬轉氨酶,分子內碳負離子與羥基間的氫鍵作用,昆蟲信息素及小分子合成砌塊,青蒿素亞鐵離子作用機理,多種天然產物及其類似物的全合成等。
