1987年9月至1990年6月 武漢大學物理系, 碩士研究生。

1990年6月至1995年6月 武漢工業大學（現武漢理工大學）測試中心工作，教師。

1995年9月至1998年6月 美國托萊多大學化學系, 碩士研究生。

1998年7月至2004年12月 美國俄亥俄州立大學化學系, 博士研究生。
