長期致力於無線寬頻通信理論與技術的研究,尤其在數字圖像/視頻傳輸與處理方面有多年的研發經驗。曾參與我國數字地面電視廣播物理層標準DTMB的制定工作,負責成電方案的系統模擬與驗證工作。研究了數字視頻廣播物理層傳輸標準解調方法,為DVB-T/H提出了時頻二維自適應通道信息獲取方法,以及高速移動環境子載波間干擾消除方法,為DTMB系統提出了基於複合PN相關的大範圍載波頻偏同步方法,以及低複雜度通道估計與均衡演演算法,為ISDB-Tsb系統提出低密度導頻條件下的同步方法等。此外,還研究了多載波系統干擾抵消演演算法,包括相位雜訊跟蹤與補償方法,模擬電視同頻干擾檢測與抑制方法等。所研究的方法被三星電子採用,並應用於相關數字電視專用解調晶元中。基於取得的研究成果,發表了50餘篇SCI/EI論文,其中10餘篇論文發表在權威刊物IEEETransactions;申請了20餘項美國/中國發明專利,其中授權美國發明專利6項(作為第一發明人),授權中國發明專利5項。主持/完成包括自然科學基金在內的科研項目10餘項。2014年,作為課題負責人入選四川省青年科技創新團隊。
