主要從事難變形材料高性能環件輾軋、型材擠壓及其計算機智能建模模擬優化等方面的研究工作。
主持承擔國家自然科學基金4項(青年1項、面上2項、合作重點1項),完成的青年基金被評為國家基金委機械學科“優秀結題項目”;主持博士后科學基金1項;主持承擔國家重大科技專項課題3項;參加國家自然科學基金重點項目、國家傑出青年科學基金、國家重大科技專項等課題多項;
