楊星勇博士，四川南江人，教授，博士生導師

工作簡歷：1988 07 — 1993 08 四川省中醫藥研究院藥物種植研究所從事科研工作;1996 07 — 2005 02 西南農業大學生物技術中心從事科研教學工作;2005 03 — 2006 03 日本名古屋市立大學進行訪問研究;2006 03 — 2008 11 西南大學生物技術中心從事科研教學工作;2008 11 — 至今 西南大學生命科學學院從事科研教學工作.

學術榮譽或專業團體任職：重慶市生物化學與分子生物學學會 副秘書長；重慶市322人才工程第二層次人選；重慶市植物學學科學術帶頭人.

主要研究領域與方向：

1. 分子微生物學：主要通過蛋白質組學、轉錄組學及代謝組學等研究病原微生物致病的分子基礎。

2. 植物與病原物相互作用的分子機理：通過差異蛋白組學、RNA組學等探討植物與病原真菌相互作用的分子機制。

3. 植物基因工程：通過篩選分離具有重要價值的蛋白質或多肽，進而克隆其編碼基因，並通過轉基因植物驗證其功能；探討轉基因抗病蟲植物對微環境的影響等。
