1986,9~1990,6：湖北大學數學專業；

1995,8~1998,6：華中師範大學數學系基礎數學專業碩士學位研究生，獲基礎數學碩士學位；

2000,9~2003,7：中國科學院數學與系統科學研究院博士學位研究生，獲應用數學博士學位。

1990.8~1995.8：湖北省孝昌縣周巷中學教師；

1998.7~2003.8：湖北省孝感學院數學系, 講師，副教授；

2003.9~2005.7：中國科學院武漢物理與數學研究所, 副研究員；

2004.1~2005.8：受德國洪堡基金會資助在德國吉森大學做洪堡學者；

2005.7：華中師範大學數學與統計學學院教授，先後任華中師範大學數學與統計學學院副院長，院長，院長、黨委副書記。

2019.11：華中師範大學黨委常委、副校長。
