劉秦玉
劉秦玉教授,女,1946年3月出生,中共黨員, 1993 年被國務院學位辦批准為博士生指導教師;1995年獲青島市勞動模範光榮稱號和政府特殊津貼;曾多次獲山東省,青島市婦聯的表彰;2002年至今為青島市拔尖人才;2008年獲山東省先進工作者光榮稱號。劉秦玉教授目前是“海洋-大氣相互作用與氣候”山東省重點實驗室主任,兼中國海洋大學婦女工作委員會主任,中國海洋湖沼學會水文氣象學會理事長,中國海洋學會海洋-大氣相互作用副理事長等職務。

1968年畢業於山東海洋學院,1981年畢業於山東大學數學系並獲碩士學位。

曾先後到巴黎六大LODYC實驗室和CEFACS研究中心、美國TexasA&M大學、美國wisconsin大學、美國海軍研究生院和法國動力氣象實驗室訪問和進行合作研究。
1986年-2004年在國內外學術刊物上發表學術論文120篇。
共有22篇被SCI他引63次;總引用193次,其中他引128次。
她近年來主要的科學成就和貢獻在以下兩個方面:
發現了西太平洋“暖池”區西風爆發誘發的上混合層季節內振蕩現象和太平洋中緯度海洋Rossby波與海平面高度季節內振蕩的關係;闡釋了夏威夷群島在副熱帶逆流形成中的重要作用。她作為第3作者與美國夏威夷大學謝尚平教授等合作共同發現的夏威夷群島附近的海洋-陸地-大氣相互作用現象,被美國國家航空和宇宙航行局(NASA)2003年確定為用衛星觀測發現的地球12個重要科學問題之一。
二,南海上層海洋環流與熱結構研究。
建立了上層海洋對季風響應的Rossby波調整理論框架,該理論成為研究南海上層海洋海盆尺度環流和溫躍層氣候變化的理論基礎;揭示了黑潮在呂宋海峽形變的機制,給出了海峽流量的季節變化;發現了南海溫躍層和上混合層的變化特徵;闡釋了南海西邊界流在經向熱輸送中的作用,給出了海洋動力過程在氣候變化中起重要作用的另一個新證據。
她曾獲1986年國家教委科技進步二等獎,1990山東省科技進步三等獎; 2000年中國高等學校自然科學二等獎。她作為第一完成人完成的國家自然科學基金項目“黑潮與大氣環流相互作用動力機制的研究”獲1997年國家海洋局科技進步三等獎,“南海上層海洋環流、熱結構的季節和季節內變化特徵及形成機制”項目2004年獲教育部提名國家自然科學獎二等獎。
曾獲青島海洋大學優秀科技工作者、青島海洋大學先進教師、青島市三八紅旗手、青島市巾幗科技先進工作者、山東省巾幗建功活動先進個人、山東省三八紅旗手,青島市勞動模範等榮譽稱號,享受國務院頒發的政府特殊津貼。
目前,她正主持國家自然科學基金重點項目“台灣以東黑潮低頻變異形成機制及其對氣候系統的影響”和國家自然科學基金面上項目:“北太平洋副熱帶模態水及其形成機制研究”,並參與其他國家級科研項目。
