段世偉畢業於上海交通大學,獲細胞分子生物學博士,是浙江省“錢江學者”特聘教授,浙江省151人才工程第一層次培養人員,浙江省自然科學基金傑出青年人才項目主持人,寧波市生物化學與分子生物學重點學科帶頭人,寧波市“3315計劃”高層次創新人才,寧波大學拔尖人才,寧波大學“安中”特聘講座教授,寧波大學“浙東學者”特聘教授,寧波大學醫學院生化研究所副所長。
段世偉曾在美國芝加哥大學從事科研工作,曾擔任新加坡臨床科學研究院高級研究員。段世偉多年從事醫學遺傳學及藥物基因組學領域研究,有著紮實的遺傳學、基因組學及系統生物學研究基礎,具有充沛的科研創新能力,在國內外的醫學遺傳學及藥物基因組學領域中已經取得了較大的影響,與芝加哥大學、西北大學、伊利諾伊州立大學芝加哥分校、新加坡國立大學等多個高校醫學院及研究所建立了友好互訪及科研合作的關係。
段世偉長期從事醫學及表觀遺傳學研究,已發表論文270多篇,總引用率6000多次,近年來年均引用接近700,h指數為39。
段世偉擔任BMC Med Genomics(SCI)副主編、Exp Ther Med(SCI)編委,Nature Communications, ebiomedicine等100多個國內外期刊審稿人,國家藥理學會藥物基因組學專業委員會委員,浙江省抗癌學會青年委員會委員,美國人類遺傳學會委員、美國癌症研究學會委員、人類基因組學學會委員、美國藥物基因組學學會委員。
