鄭卓,男,中山大學地球科學系教授、博士生導師。

基本信息


1956年生,中山大學地球科學系教授、博士生導師、“第四紀地質學”學科帶頭人,2002年起擔任中山大學地球科學系系主任。1987年在法國獲得博士學位,1987-1990年中山大學生物學博士后。

主要業績


先後擔任中國古生物學會理事、廣東省地質學會副理事長、中國孢粉學分會副理事長、 “中國地質教育”雜誌社編委會副主任,中國第四紀研究委員會熱帶亞熱帶專委會副主任、嶺南考古研究中心理事、廣東省地質學會環境地質與第四紀地質專業委員會主任、中山大學珠海校區地學實驗室主任、2004年全球變化影響下的生態系統生物多樣性國際會議執行主席、第二十屆國際孢粉學大會(2000年)組委會委員等。
目前主要從事第四紀地質學、全球變化科學、古環境生態學、環境考古學、海岸帶環境地質與地質災害等。在珠江三角洲雷瓊地區、韓江三角洲南海東海(沖繩海槽)等地進行了一系列第四紀環境方面的研究工作。應用第四紀生態學方法重建華南地區近幾萬年的生態環境演化和沉積環境演化,提出華南熱帶-亞熱帶地區冰期/間冰期的植被帶垂直演變理論,證明了一些植物屬種如陸均松海桑屬等的植物歷史地理分佈。在國家重點項目的資助下,建立了東亞地區古環境資料庫,並利用數學模型定量恢復古氣候,利用GIS和全球碳循環模型模擬了各種植被和環境參數的空間分佈,在時間序列與空間序列的古環境研究已經發表了一系列具有國際前沿水平的研究成果。
先後主持國家自然科學基金重點項目和面上項目廣東省自然科學基金項目、國際交流與合作項目、中法先進研究計劃和其他省部級項目與橫向項目二十多項。在國內外核心刊物發表論文70餘篇。長期與國外進行密切的學術交流,分別與法國蒙皮利埃第二大學、法國馬賽聖日爾科技大學、里昂第一大學、法國阿爾勃斯地中海歐洲研究中心、香港大學德國柏林自由大學,以及美國、英國比利時瑞典、澳大利亞、俄羅斯、日本等一些學術單位有著密切和長久的合作關係。2004年被法國駐中國大使館邀請,作為僅有的兩個中國特邀代表之一參加在巴黎聯合國教科文組織總部召開的法國總理西拉克、聯合國教科文組織執行主席和多國首腦參加的全球生物多樣性國際會議。
近年培養的研究生中,絕大部分都在國外有聯合培養的經歷,如獲得法國政府的聯合培養博士生計劃,法國大學科研項目的博士生資助計劃、教育部博士生聯合培養計劃等。同時,資助研究生出國參加國際學術會議,如澳大利亞的INQUA國際會議、德國的IPC國際會議、在南非的第四紀古環境資料庫國際會議等.
